What is KipDesk?
An AI assistant that sits on your website. It answers visitors' questions about your business using facts you've approved, and when someone wants a quote or booking, it takes their details and sends them to you straight away.
Will it make things up?
It's built not to. Answers come only from your approved facts, your written answers and your website pages. When it can't find the answer there, it says so, asks for the visitor's details, and adds the question to your to-do list so you can answer it once.
How do I add it to my website?

Will it slow my site down?
No. The widget loads after your page has finished loading, and the chat window only loads when someone opens it.
What happens if I hit my conversation limit?
We never charge you extra. KipDesk switches to lead-only mode: it still takes visitors' details and sends them to you, and we email you once so you can decide whether to upgrade.
How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days and 100 conversations with every Pro feature, no card needed. Pick a plan when you're ready, or let it end. Nothing is charged automatically.

Which AI does it use?
OpenAI models through OpenAI's official API, which doesn't use your data to train its models by default. We test every model change against real customer questions before it goes live.
